The problem with shoes

This has happened to me countless times.

I get drawn to a pair of shoes. I pick it up and then realize it has ugly heels. 

Too chunky, ugly mismatching colour, too curved, too straight, wrong material, etc. 

Put it away. 

If the heels look right, my heartbeat increases. 

I put it on. 

Then it'll dawn on me, what?! no toe cleavage?!

Put the shoes away. Walk away disappointed.
