Yesterday, New Yorkers looked up the sky and saw this.
It made the news and I'm sure for many it was an impressive sight.
On my way to JFK, outside the airport, traffic slowed to a crawl at just one very short section. Then the bus driver shouted out to us that there was the 747 and the space shuttle on its back!
WHOA.

After we passed it, traffic moved at a normal pace.
And the plane today taxied for 50 minutes before we got to our turn for take off. damnit. I've never ever had to taxi so long in my life. Thanks JFK.
